Our goal is to help clients move with more confidence, freedom and reduced pain. We teach our clients how to visualize inner muscles at work and implement the idea that body awareness is the key to sustaining lifelong structural support.
Using the core principles of Pilates (Centering, Concentration, Control, Precision, Breath, and Flow) combined with Melanie’s extensively diverse movement/ kinesiology and rehabilitation background, we provide customized sessions incorporating various elements of conditioning including dance, yoga, Bartenieff Fundamentals, Franklin Method, Yamana Body Rolling, Yoga Tune-Up and Gyrotonic/Gyrokinesis.
During Melanie’s 20+year career as a professional Pilates educator, she has worked with a diverse clientele, including:
Professional Athletes – Cyclists, runners, swimmers, gymnasts, dancers, ice skaters and golfers
Rehabilitation – Spinal stenosis, spondylothesis, other disc/vertebrae trauma, hip replacement, knee/foot trauma, shoulder/neck issues, neurological impairment, wheelchair users and individuals with other mobility restrictions
Pregnancy – Prenatal, pregnant and post-natal women
Transitional Clients – Moving from physical therapy to a regular exercise program
Dedicated Clients – Those serious about beginning a movement practice they can sustain and develop for the rest of their lives
We offer live online One-To-One, Semi-Private and Group Pilates wellness sessions that are comprehensive and efficient, allowing you to fit exercise, mindfulness and self-care back into your schedule!

HOW IT WORKS
We are here to help you get back some of your well deserved “ME time”.
Step 1 - Set Up Your Space
Grab a mat, find a quiet space and turn up the lights!
Place your computer, tablet or smartphone far enough from you so your instructor can see your body.
Don’t worry, we will guide you through this at the beginning of the session!
Step 2 - Set Up Your Tech
We use Zoom video conferencing for our live sessions. You will receive a link to your call via email from us.
If you are joining for the first time, you can download the plugin (if on a computer) or the app (if on a phone or tablet) before the call. Alternatively, you can join the session via a link on your internet browser.
Step 3 - Set Up Your Body
Make sure to have your doctor’s clearance before taking your session and be prepared to let your teacher know of any physical issues you might be experiencing.
Wear something comfortable (a lighter shade of clothing (at least top) is preferable and makes it easier for us to see your alignment) and we will help you do the rest!
